Speak in Code · The Parallel Self

Everybody in this space wants to talk about your higher self.

Your future self. The version of you with the house and the calm nervous system, standing somewhere out ahead of you, waiting for you to catch up. Script to him. Vision board him. Feel like him until the feeling becomes the fact.

I did all of that. For seven years I did all of that.

Here’s what I had to die to find out.

You already have another self. Not ahead of you. Beside you. It has been running since before you were born, it has its own identity, and you have never once been introduced.

Bro, you got a whole self right here.

This isn’t your higher self. This isn’t your future self. This is your parallel self, and it is the vehicle you have been driving the whole time with your eyes closed.

I · Eighty-eight days before you were born

Open your chart. Look at the left column.

Everything over there in teal — those placements didn’t happen on your birthday. They happened about eighty-eight days before it, at a moment you have no memory of and no story about, when an imprint landed on your genetic code.

Mine was December 9th, 1981, at 5:15 in the morning. Eighty-seven days, not eighty-eight — it varies. Some people are eighty-seven. Some are ninety-two. Yours is yours, down to the minute, and nobody has ever handed it to you.

The right column is the self everybody meets. The one with the name, the opinions, the personality people think they’re talking to. That’s the conscious side. That’s the one you’ve been managing.

The left column is the body. The astrology of the body. I call it the design side, and it’s not a theory about you — it’s the half of you that was already switched on before you arrived.

It’s like a shadow of your soul, and you’re not paying attention to it.

That’s not a poetic line. It’s a mechanical description. Your design side is running right now, making calls, carrying energy, giving off a signal people feel before you open your mouth — and you have no conscious access to it. You don’t experience it. You are it.

Which means the version of you that other people are responding to is a version you have never seen.

II · You have two suns

Everybody knows their sun sign. I’m a Pisces. You’re an Aries, you’re hotheaded. You’re a Cancer, you’re a crybaby. It’s fun and it stops there.

But there are two suns in your chart, and the one nobody reads is the one doing the work.

My design sun is gate 26, line 1. The Trickster. The sacred salesman. Sagittarius, second house — the house of worth.

I call the design sun the undertone, because it’s the energy flowing underneath everything at all times. Not what you say. What’s humming under what you say.

And here’s the part I want you to sit with, because this is the difference between my system and a personality test.

Gate 26 is always the sacred salesman. That part is fixed. But mine sits on my design sun. Yours might sit on your design earth. Yours might be your personality moon. Same gate, completely different instrument, completely different life.

A personality test gives you sixteen options. This gives you an arrangement — your gates, in your positions, in your houses, in an order nobody else on earth is carrying. That’s not a type. That’s a fingerprint. I call it your signal.

Let me show you what mine told me.

I came out of college with a business degree and went straight into pharmaceutical sales. And I sold. Bought my first place at twenty-four. Company car, company credit card. Then I couldn’t take it anymore and picked up a camera, and I told myself the selling part was the part I’d escaped.

It wasn’t. It was never corporate America that I was built for. It was the selling.

I’m designed to sell what I believe in. I’m designed to sell what I’ve built. I’m designed to sell what’s going to help other people. All three of those were in gate 26 the whole time, sitting in the house of worth, and I spent eighteen years thinking the sales job was the mistake instead of the container.

That’s what the design side does. It doesn’t tell you something new. It tells you what’s already been true for twenty years, in language you can finally act on.

III · The crown is an antenna

Look at your head center — the triangle at the top. If it isn’t coloured in, you’re in the seventy percent.

An open head is not a flaw. It’s an antenna.

It’s not there to answer anything. It’s there to receive. Inspiration comes in. Ideas come in. And so do questions that aren’t yours, and pressure that isn’t yours, and a low constant confusion that you have spent your whole life assuming is your personality.

It isn’t. It’s weather. You absorbed it because your design left the door open.

What most of us do with that pressure is escape. We don’t want to sit in the frustration, so we find somewhere to go — a scroll, a substance, a new identity every three to five business days. And every time we escape, we hand that open room over to be conditioned a little more.

Decoding is learning to feel the difference. This is mine. This was installed.

That’s the whole first move. Not a cleanse, not a retreat. A sorting.

IV · Don’t create what you consume

Everybody is telling you to be authentic.

I have beef with that word. Authentic is a 3D term and it’s a marketing tactic. Be authentic, they say, over and over, while your aura is sitting there waiting to be freed.

It’s not about being authentic. It’s about being specific.

Authentic asks whether you’re real. Specific asks whether somebody could dress as you. Those are not the same question and only one of them is a business.

Here’s the mechanic underneath it. If you keep creating what you consume, you’re going to look like everybody else — because you’re generating from your conditioned side, and the conditioned side is made of other people’s weather. That’s why so much of what you make feels close to something you’ve already seen. It is.

You’ve got a whole parallel self on the left-hand side that you’ve been ignoring, and that parallel self is the part nobody else has.

Don’t create what you consume. Create what you don’t see in the market.

That’s why I put myself on camera next to my own chart, half and half. I’d never seen anyone do that. I’ve never seen anybody build a mirror and then hand it to the people watching. But that’s what I came here to do, so that’s what’s on the screen.

V · Resistance means you have something to release

I was terrified of this.

A year ago, if you had told me I’d be making a video every single day for a hundred and eight days, I would have dissolved. I would have turned into a thousand bats and flown away.

My motivation in Human Design is fear. Literally — it’s the thing I have to run toward. So the practice I built had to be shaped like that, and here’s the rule I run now:

When I feel resistance, that’s not a sign to stop. That’s a notification that I have something to release.

And the thing to release is always inside me. It’s not the person. It’s not the job. It’s not the circumstance. It’s something up in a brain that got conditioned, probably a limiting belief, probably something that was never mine to carry in the first place.

Every time I release one, I get to release another version of myself onto the camera. Same word, both directions. That’s not a coincidence, that’s the mechanic.

Which is why the thing I’m running is called 108 Flow and not 108 Hard. My homeboy is doing 75 Hard and I salute him — I would crash out. Force is not my instrument. A hundred and eight days of surrender is.

You don’t create through force. You create through surrender.

VI · Your family is not your fractal

My mama, my sister, my daddy have never seen one of my videos. They think I’m nuts. What you talking about today, baby.

That used to hurt. Now it’s the inside joke, and it’s also the proof.

If I made videos my mother would watch, I would never have met any of you. I’d be broke, and broken on the inside, because I wouldn’t be doing the thing I’m here to do.

My moon is gate 23 — Splitting Apart. The keynote is right there in the name. When somebody doesn’t get what I’m saying, that is not a rejection. That’s a filter. The people who aren’t for me will never see me, and the mechanism that makes sure of it is the same mechanism that lets the right ones find me.

So don’t take anything personally when you start uploading. Those people were never for you. Love them. Still love them. They’re just not the ones who are going to carry you to your purpose.

Your signal is how your fractal hears you.

THE FRAMEWORK · Meet your parallel self

One. Open your chart and cover the right column. Everything left is the design side — the half that was imprinted about eighty-eight days before your birth. Write down your design sun with its gate and line. That’s your undertone.

Two. Find your open centers. Those are the rooms where you’ve been taking in everybody else’s weather your whole life. For each one, name one belief you’ve been carrying and ask the only question that matters: is this mine, or was this installed?

Three. Personify what you find. Give every gate a character. Not because it’s cute — because a character is something you can work with and a number isn’t.

Four. Next time you feel resistance in front of the camera, the page, the send button: don’t push. Ask what you’re being asked to release. Release that, and the thing you were trying to make comes out behind it.

You can’t monetize your system until you understand it. You have to become fluent in yourself first.

That’s what the Cipher is. It’s free, it’s yours, and the design side sheet prints the whole left column — your design birthday to the minute, every gate, every house, in plain language.

Go get it. Then come back and tell me what you found, out loud, where everybody can see it. That’s how a fractal grows.
